Klehr Harrison Elects Brett Feldman and Patrick Murphy to Firm Partnership

PHILADELPHIA (December 18, 2019)Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg LLP (Klehr Harrison) is pleased to announce that Brett D. Feldman, a member of the firm’s Real Estate and Finance Practice Group, and Patrick J. Murphy, Jr., a member of the firm’s Corporate and Securities Practice Group, have been elected to the firm’s partnership, effective January 1, 2020.

Feldman concentrates his practice on zoning and land use matters, working closely with various city agencies, elected officials, and community groups in order to enable developers and entrepreneurs to obtain the necessary permits, operational licenses, and tax abatements needed to build or renovate buildings. In this capacity, Feldman represents a wide range of regional and national multi-family, residential, retail, office and industrial clients, as well as a number of international restaurant chains. In addition, Feldman is a frequent speaker on a wide range of land use and zoning topics and has most recently served as a panelist with the Philadelphia Citizens Planning Institute. Previously Feldman had served on the Mayor’s Philadelphia 21st Century Review Forum. Feldman, who lives in Philadelphia with his wife and two children, is also very involved in a number of capacities with his West Philadelphia neighborhood. 

Feldman earned his B.S. from Cornell University, and his J.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Law.  Feldman spent his third year of law school at the University of Pennsylvania.  

Murphy works with a diverse compilation of businesses. He advises privately held companies, publicly traded corporations, private equity funds, international investment firms, manufacturing companies, real estate owners, retailers, restaurants and others.  Murphy is experienced in counseling his clients on a wide range of complex business and commercial matters including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, equity and debt offerings, venture capital, strategic investments, private equity and financings. He is also an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth.

Murphy received his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D., cum laude, from the Temple University Beasley School of Law.
